Faith - in Christ - Acts 24:25

Death and Resurrection of Jesus - perfect sinless life.

Love - 1st and greatest commandment - Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

Faith - without faith it is impossible to please God - Hebrews 11:6, Romans 1:17.

Humility - God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble - 1 Peter 5:5, Proverbs 3:34, Isaiah 57:15.

Obedience - 1 Samuel 15:22, John 14:15, 21, 23-24, 15:10. John 14:23 "If anyone loves me he will keep my word." John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commandments". Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God".

Salvation - is a free gift and cannot be earned! There is absolutely nothing we can do to earn salvation. Salvation is free but it is costly. Costly because it will cost us everything - we must give up everything!!!!

Few are saved - Acts 1:15 "about 120 followers of Jesus", John 6:60 + 66 "hard saying, who can understand it." "went away and walked with Him no more." There were many who heard Jesus - we don't really hear much about regular people who didn't follow Him - mostly religious people. However, out of His followers, many of them did not stay and He was preaching the TRUE Gospel!!! "Narrow is the gate and difficult is the path of life and there are few that find it".
